Swim Center Update 6.15.20

The Santa Monica Swim Center is not yet open. Santa Monica is currently planning for reopening, including cleaning and social distancing protocols. We will announce re-opening dates to the public as soon as possible.

Pool availability will be extremely limited after reopening. This is because of new Public Health required social distancing requirements to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are required to severely limit the number of persons in the pool. We will provide more details on program modifications as soon as we are able. We appreciate your patience during this challenging time.

Swim Center Update

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while the Swim Center is closed. While we are all excited to see our swimmers back in the water, we have a responsibility to ensure a safe return to the pool. We need to be creative and flexible as we re-imagine what that looks like for the Santa Monica Swim Center. This framework will be based on the best information available to begin doing that. Although the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Department may soon announce the re-openings of pools, we will need time to ensure all safety measures are in place before welcoming back staff and swimmers. We will work hard to ensure all requirements and guidelines as outlined by the County are strictly adhered to. When we are ready to announce a re-opening date we will post it here on our website as well as our Facebook page. Again, we truly appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure a safe return to the Swim Center.
