The City of Santa Monica has extended our local emergency and all orders until April 30.
We care about your health and safety, and we are working closely with the LA County Department of Public Safety to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Given the “Stay at Home” orders from California Governor Gavin Newsom, the City of Santa Monica is cancelling all aquatic programming, all public events and extending facility closures through April 30. This means that all closures, including City Hall and City facilities (including beach parking closures and impacts on City services) are effective until April 30.
For a full list of closures, cancellations and service changes, visit santamonica.gov/coronavirus-cancellations.
As a reminder, please STAY HOME, practice physical distancing of at least 6 feet, wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, and avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
